I'm pleased to give them a good review. The food has always been good but we stopped eating there because of the dismal service. We gave them another shot and saw lots of new faces and the service was good.

This is my first visit and I was very pleased with this restaurant. I've driven by it several times easy access from either side of the road. Plenty of parking. I had a glass of wine and a very nice meal. The service was great. the atmosphere is nice. I am looking forward to trying their pizza in the very near future
"We go to Monty's at least once a month. The food is good, prices are reasonable, and the owner is from Brooklyn," a woman I met at my hair salon, said. I figured if she schleps from Fort Myers to Punta Gorda just to eat, Monty's is probably worth a try. So we suggested it to a friend that we were meeting for lunch this week. The hair salon-lady was right on all counts. Except ... the restaurant family is from Long Island. Not Brooklyn. Monty's reminds me of the mom-and-pop places of my youth. Fancy? Nope. Five star? No. But what we got was good, and we'd easily return. Entrees come with either salad or soup. Our waitress said their bread is baked daily; nice presentation with their olive oil - herb mix. My eggplant and T's chicken parm looked interchangeable, but clearly wasn't. We added a bottle of cheapie house wine -- not bad for $24! -- and finished lunch with cannoli's. Service was excellent. Unlike another Yelper's observation, we thought the ambience, furnishings, etc. were just fine.
Had some good Door Dash delivery from Monty"s. Linguine with white clam sauce, veal Frances, shrimp scampi. All really good, still hot and fresh when it showed up at our door!,
